What You Get
What’s Included in Every Sandiparks Panel Job
Quality commercial panel installation is judged by what happens after
the cover goes back on. Here’s what’s included in every panel
and breaker project we complete.
Load Calculation & Sizing
We calculate your current draw and planned additions, then size the panel to include genuine spare capacity. A panel with no room to grow is a problem you pay for twice.
Correct Panel & Breaker Specification
We match the load centre, breaker type, and interrupting rating to your building and equipment. Commercial fault currents are not the same as residential fault currents, and the hardware must be rated for them.
Clear Circuit Directory
Every panel we install is clearly labelled. When something trips at 6 am, your staff should be able to find the right breaker without calling an electrician.
Shutdown Planned Around Your Operations
Pulling a live load centre means the panel is down, not just one circuit. We plan the window overnight, before opening, or on a weekend, so the outage occurs when it costs you least.
Panel Schedules & Documentation
You receive permit records, inspection sign-off, and a written panel schedule. When a future contractor opens that panel, they should know what they’re looking at.
Businesses comparing commercial electrical panel installers should ask what’s included before comparing prices. Every project we complete covers the full scope above as standard, with pricing clearly stated in your written quote.
Out of breaker spaces?

Sizing is where most panel projects go wrong, and it rarely shows up until later. A load centre filled on day one means every future addition triggers a sub-panel, a service upgrade, or both. The incremental cost of specifying headroom now is a fraction of what it costs to solve the problem twice, which is why we plan for the equipment you’re adding in two years rather than what’s on the floor today.
Breaker compatibility is the second thing that bites businesses, particularly in older buildings. Legacy panels from manufacturers no longer in production force a choice between hunting down obsolete breakers at a premium or replacing the load centre outright. Ryan has worked on enough of these to tell you honestly which way the numbers fall, rather than defaulting to whichever option is more profitable.
Fault current is the part nobody asks about but everybody should. A breaker must be rated to interrupt the fault current available at its location in your system, and that rating depends on your service, transformer, and conductor runs. Getting it wrong produces a panel that looks compliant but isn’t. We calculate it rather than assume it.
Then there’s the directory. A panel with no labels, or labels that became inaccurate three tenants ago, turns a two-minute reset into an hour of guessing in the dark. Every panel we install is labelled, and the schedule is included in your documentation package.
Our Process
What to Expect from Start to Finish
Here’s how a Sandiparks panel-and-breaker project runs,
from the first walkthrough to final documentation.
Tell us what’s driving the work
Call, email, or book online. Whether you’re out of breaker spaces, adding equipment, or dealing with a panel for which parts can’t be sourced, that context shapes the scope. Tell us your operating hours too.
Walkthrough, load calculation, and written quote
We visit your site, measure your actual draw, inspect the existing panel and feeders, and verify what your service supports. For three-phase panel installation work, we confirm your incoming service and equipment requirements before issuing any specifications.
Permit pulled, panel installed, circuits verified
We file the ESA permit and complete the work within the agreed window. Every commercial circuit breaker installation is torqued to spec, each circuit is traced and verified against the schedule, and the directory is labelled before we leave.
Inspection, panel schedule, and handover
We coordinate the ESA inspection, then walk you through the completed panel and hand over the schedule and records. You know what’s on every breaker before we leave the site.
Serving London, Ontario & Surrounding Communities
Based in Mount Brydges, we provide commercial panel installation across Southwestern Ontario, including London, Strathroy, St. Thomas, Komoka, Dorchester, and Middlesex County.
Much of our panel work involves commercial sub-panel installations for new or renovated commercial spaces, commercial kitchens, workshops, and equipment rooms, where a concentrated load is located far from the main service and warrants its own distribution point.
Business owners choose our commercial electrical panel installers because we handle the permit, load calculation, and labelling without passing any of it back to you.

What Our Clients Say
FAQs
How much does commercial panel installation cost?
Cost depends on the panel size and rating, whether it’s a replacement or an addition, the condition of your existing feeders, and how many circuits need to be reconnected and verified. Our commercial panel upgrade services are quoted after a walkthrough, so you’re budgeting for your building, not an average.
How long will the panel be down during the work?
Longer than a single circuit repair, which is why the timing matters. Replacing a load centre means every circuit it feeds is off until reconnection and verification are complete. For most commercial panels, that’s several hours, which we schedule overnight or before opening so it falls outside your trading hours.
Do we need a permit for panel work?
Yes. All commercial electrical panel installations require an ESA permit and inspection. We handle the application, scheduling, and inspection coordination as part of the quoted scope, and we keep the records in your file.
Do we need a subpanel or a full panel replacement?
It depends on where your capacity is and where the load is going. If your main has headroom but you’re adding a concentrated load in one area, commercial subpanel installation is usually the cheaper and cleaner option. If you’re genuinely out of capacity, a replacement or a service upgrade is the honest answer, and we’ll say so.
Can you install three-phase panels?
Yes. Most commercial equipment above a certain size requires three-phase power, and three-phase panel installation is routine for us. We confirm during the walkthrough that your incoming service supports it, then specify the panel, breakers, and conductors accordingly.
Our panel is old, and we can't find breakers for it. What now?
This is common with discontinued panel lines. Obsolete breakers can sometimes be sourced, but often at a premium and with no guarantee of future availability. At that point, installing a commercial circuit breaker in a legacy panel no longer makes financial sense, so replacement is the better option. We’ll run both numbers for you.
