What You Get

What’s Included in Every Sandiparks Wiring Job

Quality residential wiring services aren’t just about pulling cable.
Here’s what’s included in every wiring or rewiring job we complete,
with no add-ons or surprise line items at the end.

Pre-Wire Assessment & Planning

Before any wires are pulled, we assess your existing system, plan the circuit layouts, and identify the most efficient route. This prevents unnecessary drywall damage and keeps the job on schedule.

ESA Permit Application

An ESA permit is required for any new or existing wiring in Ontario. We handle the application, fees, and inspection scheduling so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork.

Code-Compliant Installation

All wiring is installed in accordance with current Ontario Electrical Safety Code standards by a licensed electrician, including proper gauging, secure connections, and full GFCI/AFCI protection where required.

Minimal Disruption Approach

We work efficiently in occupied homes, protecting your floors and furniture while minimizing the size and number of access cuts in your drywall and ceilings.

Cleanup & Patch-Up Coordination

We coordinate with drywall and paint contractors where needed, leaving your home ready for finishing rather than leaving you to clean up after us.

Every residential wiring installation we complete is priced upfront in your written quote, based on the agreed scope of work. If any roadblocks or unexpected issues come up during the project, we will discuss them with you first and provide pricing before moving forward.

Wondering about the scope?

The cost and timeline for electrical residential wiring depend on the size of your home, the existing system, and whether walls are open. Call for a clear, upfront quote.

Why Sandiparks

What Sets Us Apart

Code-Compliant: All work to ESA standards

Every wire run, every connection, every box. Done right or not at all.

10+ Years of experience

Ryan has been rewiring homes in Southwestern Ontario since 2011 and has seen every type of system.

100% Licensed installation

Every wiring job is performed by a licensed Master Electrician with ECRA registration and full insurance.

No hidden costs

We quote the full scope upfront. Anything unexpected gets discussed before we proceed.

The three pillars of a good residential wiring service are experience, attention to detail, and thorough diagnostics. Since 2011, our Master Electrician and Owner, Ryan, has been wiring and rewiring homes across Southwestern Ontario. He knows what to look for in older systems, what to avoid compromising on, and how to deliver work that stands the test of time.

In residential home wiring, the entire system is designed, and we do not pull a single wire. This includes assessing your house’s electrical load, your current and future needs, and how the wiring will accommodate all lighting and EV chargers. The secret to avoiding costly mistakes in the future is planning.

In older houses, the wiring may be knob-and-tube wiring, aluminum wiring, or undersized circuits that are not up to code or the house’s requirements. Before we recommend the scope of work, we consider what we can retain, what we must discard, and what is safe.

Our home rewiring services also include work in occupied homes with minimal disruption. We’ve developed efficient processes for routing new wiring with the least possible impact on your finished walls, ceilings, and floors. That experience saves you money on drywall repair and reduces the time we spend in your home.

Contact us and describe the project

Call, email, or book online. Tell us about your home (age, size, existing wiring type) and what you’re looking to do. We can often give you a preliminary scope and budget range over the phone.

On-site assessment and written quote

We visit your home, inspect the existing system, plan the routing, and provide a detailed written quote. For any new residential electrical wiring project, the quote includes permit fees, materials, labour, and inspection coordination from day one.

Permits pulled and installation completed

We file the ESA permit before work begins. As an experienced electrical rewiring company, our team efficiently installs new wiring and often coordinates with your renovation schedule if you’re working alongside other trades.

ESA inspection and follow-up

We coordinate the ESA inspection. Once the work passes, Ryan personally follows up to confirm that everything is functioning properly and that you’re fully satisfied with the result.

Serving London, Ontario & Surrounding Communities

Based in Mount Brydges, we offer professional residential wiring services to homeowners throughout Southwestern Ontario, including London, Strathroy, St. Thomas, Komoka, Dorchester, and Middlesex County.

Whether you need a fresh residential wiring installation for a new build or a complete rewire of an older property, our team has the experience to handle the job safely and in compliance with code.

We also work in heritage properties and turn-of-the-century homes, where careful electrical residential wiring practices are required to preserve the buildings while bringing the electrical systems into compliance.

TESTIMONIALS

What Our Clients Say

FAQs

How much does it cost to rewire a house in Ontario?

The cost can vary widely depending on your house’s size, the type of wiring you have, and whether your walls are open or finished. Our quotes for residential wiring are based on an on-site assessment and reflect your home, not a generic estimate.

How long does a full house rewire take?

The average home can be rewired in 1-2 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the job. Residential wiring projects in occupied homes take a little longer because we work around your daily routine and possessions. We provide a clear timeline in the written quote.

Do I need a permit for rewiring my house in Ontario?

Yes. New circuits, panel changes, and replacement of existing wiring are just a few examples of residential house wiring projects that require an ESA permit and inspection. All permit applications and inspection scheduling are included in each quote, so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork.

Should I rewire my older home?

Our home rewiring services may be worth considering if your house still has knob-and-tube wiring, aluminum branch wiring, or an undersized 60-amp service. In addition to safety, today’s insurance companies and mortgage lenders require modern wiring. We evaluate your specific situation and provide an honest recommendation.

How do I find good house rewiring contractors?

At Sandiparks Electrical, we provide house rewiring services with licensed electrical expertise, ECRA registration, full insurance, and clear written quotes. Our team visits your home before quoting, explains the full scope of work, coordinates the required ESA inspection, and makes sure the job is completed safely, properly, and with no unexpected surprises.

Can I live in my home during a rewire?

Whether you can stay in your home during rewiring depends on the size and scope of the project. For some jobs, we may be able to plan the work so parts of the home remain powered and livable, while larger or more complex projects may require more extensive power shutdowns. We review the project details with you beforehand and explain what to expect before work begins.
